A love letter to our couple:

Dear MJ & Fredo,

Five minutes into our first Skype meeting, I knew I wanted to photograph your wedding. Like…REAL BAD. I could tell you two were kind, funny, adventurous, madly in love, and really valued photography. The ideal couple. After laughing and joking and just having an all-around blast, we said our goodbyes and I immediately called Reid to gush about this couple I’d just Skyped with and wanted to be best friends with…oh yeah…and photograph. A couple of calls later, and you popped the question: “Will you be our wedding photographers?” That was the moment we knew dreams really do come true.

I know this is sounding super sappy, but let me explain. As wedding photographers, we work so hard to attract couples who are just.like.you (see list above about the amazing qualities we love in couples). We do that by being ourselves and hoping people identify with what we’re putting out into the universe…photos, inspirations, ideas, values, things that make us laugh, things that make us cry…and hoping someone, somewhere, connects with what we connect with. Some couples just want a wedding photographer and nothing else. We want to laugh with our couples. To cry with our couples. To have an adventure with our couples and take beautiful photos to help them remember the love they share with each other. That is what is truly important to us. And you embody that couple. So thank you. Thank you for trusting us. For believing in us. For choosing photographers from MONTANA to fly all the way out to Long Island next year and capture the day you have been planning for such a long time. Thank you. Oh, and thank you for flying all the way out to us to take your engagement photos. We hope you love them as much as we do. We can’t WAIT until next September!!!
