Amelia & Greg moved out to Big Sky Country from North Carolina. Their love of the outdoors led them to follow their senses of adventure to a new life together in the Rockie Mountains. And while I do contend that North Carolina has gorgeous mountains of its own to go on adventures in, Reid tends to just call them “hills” and I think Amelia and Greg might agree. I think my East Coast heart will always defend the mountains and beauty of Appalachia. But I digress. When Amelia and Greg got in touch about wanting to do engagement photos with us, we quickly realized how awesome and fun they were and became so excited about getting to photograph them. So we went on an adventure in the “real” mountains of Big Sky for their engagement session on a gorgeous late summer evening last month. They were so fun to photograph and the Montana landscape did not leave us wanting. They also brought along their adorable pup and she was very excited about going on an adventure, too. You can play a version of “Where’s Waldo” in a few of the photos and spot her hiding in the long grass. Such a sweetheart. And as an additional cherry on top, Amelia is a very talented jewelry designer and wore some of her beautiful pieces that night. Check out her work on her lovely website Mountainside Designs. Seriously…I need some of that jewelry stat! Thanks for being so wonderful, you two!
