For all my neighbors who think I’m talking to myself…quit eavesdropping. It’s not polite. 🙂

But for the sake of clearing up questions of my sanity for those who may have wandered past my open door and saw me pacing around the room, speaking to no one in a slight southern accent, I’m not crazy. I’m an actor.

Okay, that probably didn’t clear up any questions. I think I may need to find a different topic for my post today…

Anyway. I’m deep in the final rehearsals for “Oklahoma” and wanted to tell the Internet (and my neighbors, if they’re listening) that I simply love Reid. I know I’ve said that before, but I really wanted to emphasize and reiterate it. Last week, as I was struggling with some lines, Reid (who’s a sound/music/recording geek…in the best sense of the word) asked if I wanted to quickly record my scenes so I could have them on my computer and run them when no one was available to run them with me. So I said all the female lines (including my own, for timing) and Reid said all the male lines into his recorder and then he quickly edited all my lines out so I could say them when practicing along with the recording. Brilliant! I’ve never learned my lines this way before, but let me tell you, it’s amazing. I can pull up iTunes whenever I want and run through my scenes, even when no one is here! See!?! I’m not crazy…just dedicated 🙂 And more grateful for Reid than ever. 
The “Twilight” movies may be awful, but the soundtrack is actually pretty great…don’t judge 😉
