I’m in an “imagine my perfect dream house” kind of mood today. It’s been very rainy here the past couple of days, which always makes me feel like I’m in a Brigadoon-like dream world and gets me conjuring up images of what I want my life to be like in 5 or 10 years as I sit and listen to the pattering of falling drops.

Speaking of falling, if this house fell into my lap, I wouldn’t mind. Not literally, as I don’t want to Wicked Witch of the East it, but one day, when I’m all grown up, I want a house with rooms like this in it. Especially the dressing table – isn’t it just lovely?

How fantastic are these chairs? They remind me of lemon meringue pie. I love the carpet, too!
