This was our first engagement shoot EVER, so we’re insanely excited to show you how it turned out 🙂 Lissette and Sam got engaged a couple of months ago, and it’s not hard to see why. They are completely and utterly in love, and that love radiates into everything around them, including their engagement photos we were so lucky to take! They are both ridiculously good looking, which made our job a breeze. Basically all we had to do was walk with them, give them a general gist of what we wanted them to do, and then they carried on being completely adorable and adoring of each other. See what we mean?

 

These photos make me think of the Beatles’ song “All You Need is Love.” 🙂

Everyone was laughing at me after taking these photos…I had leaves and dirt ALL over my back and hair from lying on the ground.

So much laughter…so many smiles!

And now for our favorite….YES!!! Feel like we struck gold and hit the jackpot with this one (actually, JACKPOT! is what I said as soon as I looked at the back of my camera and saw this). Absolutely NO editing was done to it, either.

Such happiness! Ahhhh! Love it! Love the way Lissette’s nose is all crinkled from all the smiling!

Time for a run 🙂 And yes, her hair is for real. It’s down to her ankles. Isn’t it incredibly beautiful?

Time for feet 🙂 We made Sam take his shoes and socks off, even though he was a little reticent to do so. Very glad he did ! Don’t their feet make the perfect pair?

The first one is my view, the second is Reid’s. Together, what a lovely combination 🙂

Except for one more thing…a brilliant idea I wish I could take credit for, but I won’t, because it was Reid’s brilliant idea and he deserves the kudos for it. As a tribute to our name and photographic identity, we have decided to take one photo of an orange in each of our clients’ sessions. Then once we start getting enough of these orange images (holding an orange, throwing an orange, giving the orange a strange look, talking to the orange, or shunning the orange…you name it, we’ll probably do it), we’ll create a slideshow banner at the top of our webpage under our logo. And here’s the first one 🙂
