Becky and Xander’s wedding in the California redwoods had everything a morning wedding should have: an espresso bar, a delicious brunch, and incredible golden light filtering through the giant majestic trees. Becky and Xander had their first look just as the morning’s sunbeams began streaming through the famed Bay Area fog, making an otherworldly backdrop for the incredibly sweet and happy pair. Xander’s groomsmen snuck over to say hi for a moment before they got shooed away so the couple could privately read their vows. The fog began to burn off as guests began to arrive for the ceremony, but the morning’s chill hadn’t quite dissipated yet, making the espresso bar especially welcome. Sipping out of branded cups, guests made their way to the ceremony lawn surrounded by the towering trees, which the sun was now fully illuminating. The ceremony was marked with an appearance by their beloved pup serving as the flower dog, along with readings by both mothers. Afterwards, everyone happily brunched on french toast bites, eggs benedict, and of course, mimosas. The couple’s “getaway,” as they ran through flower petal confetti, was the final beautiful moment of this morning woodland wedding.
