Just recently I had the opportunity to travel to Riviera Maya, Mexico, during which I wandered around with my camera and snapped a few rolls of film. Over the years, travel photography has become a huge passion (see some of our recent travels to Paris, Italy and Ireland), and I love trying to capture the essence of a place on camera. It’s like a treasure hunt for me. What beauty will I find next and where will I find it? I find such excitement in finding interesting details and creating little vignettes that I can look back on later and be transported back to that specific time and place.

Mexico was no different.
