If you have been keeping up with our photography at all over the past few months, you might have noticed a slow shift in our photography style. Our style has always been a blend of romantic and classic, but with the incorporation of film, we feel like we are able capture love and beauty in a way we are completely captivated by.
We believe that a good photographer is always growing and pushing him or herself to become better, both creatively and technically. In order to push ourselves in this direction, Reid and I made a decision to invest in attending a photography workshop put on by Erich McVey, one of the best film wedding photographers in the country. Even though Reid was not able to physically attend, I think we have both grown immensely as a result of the workshop.
It was truly life-changing and art-changing.
I will be writing more about the workshop and the incredible people I met very soon. In the meantime, here are some of my images from the week.
