We got to know Mackenzie on a very cold day. As is the custom in Montana, it gets freezing just when you want it to stay nice and warm. Thankfully, Mackenzie was a superb sport and braved the chilly temperature in order to let us snap these beautiful shots.
When we were chatting over e-mail to set this shoot up, I knew I liked Mackenzie when she said that she wanted to get photos that were “kinda funky ones.” I did a happy dance and immediately told Reid that I knew exactly where I wanted to go. I also knew I liked her when I saw her e-mail signature, which is a brightly colored “xoxo kenzie” with each letter bearing a different, bright color. We were sure to get along brilliantly.
This is my favorite. I love it.
Then we went to the laundromat. See? She really was up for anything. And her colorful e-mail signature had inspired me to use those colorful alphabet magnets. Genius, you say? Why thank you 🙂
Our fingers and toes may have been frozen by the time were done with these, but I’m so happy we talked you into doing the shoot now and not waiting for the spring 🙂 Hope you love them as much as we do!
