Bozeman Springtime Engagement

Nicole and Sage are two such lovely souls. They are madly in love with each other and it shows. Sage’s one request for their engagement photos was to include his 1951 Chevrolet pick-up, which was given to him by his late grandfather. And we’re so glad he requested it, as it brings such a fun, personal element to the first part of their session. Then we had an outfit and location change that both brought a little more drama (keep scrolling to see Nicole’s red skirt…INCREDIBLE!!!). These two will be getting married this summer at the Big Yellow Barn in Bozeman and we know their day is going to be full of incredible moments bursting with love (if their engagement photos were any indication!). We can’t wait to work with Bash Bozeman on it! Also, Nicole’s makeup for this session was done by the incredibly talented Fumi Makeup.

Sage acquired a unique perspective on life as he was born and raised on a farm in the Treasure State. But there were parts of Montana that he took for granted. He grew a deeper appreciation for his home after moving away and missing the beauty of the Big Sky state.

Nicole had never visited Montana before meeting Sage, but the girl from the Sunshine State had always been enamored with Big Sky Country. During her first trip north, she fell in love with its majestic mountains, vast landscape and the blue sky that seemed to stretch for forever.

The pair enjoys coming north whenever they can to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Most of their seasonal trips end up somewhere in Montana. Sage has been able to share his favorite parts of the state with Nicole. They have hiked in Glacier National Park numerous times, spent time around Whitefish and Kalispell, screamed in below-zero temperatures at a Cat-Griz game and have enjoyed tasting various breweries across the state.

Sage had always wanted to get married in Montana, but he didn’t share that thought with anyone. His immense love for Nicole grew even more when she asked if they could get married at a venue that sports a 406 area code. When they found the Big Yellow Barn outside of Bozeman, they knew it would be the perfect spot to share their special day.

Absolutely unreal. Yet another reason to visit you all in Montana – this Bozeman engagement session is a stunner
